Cruise Control will not work under 25mph

I have a 2003 Ford Ranger and recently purchased
some OEM Cruise Control Toggles with the wiring
harness and installed it. Install went well, pretty
quick, easy, and painless, however my cruise
control now no longer works under 25mph. Install
was done correctly, and I have tested it at multiple
speeds with no issues besides no activation at or
below 25mph. I'm not upset, more just curious as
to why when I could cruise at 25mph and below
before. Is this simply due to an OEM part or what's
the deal here?

WHY do you need a cruise control under 25mph?! are you just trying to be dangerous going thru school zones? WHAT?

Cruise controls BY DESIGN don't work under 25mph. You don't have a problem with your cruise.

Cruise Control in most cars will not ingage under 30 MPH. I am sure that includes a Ford Ranger!
