My price will appear as FAIR , but my car has $3000 dollars in professional
performance upgrades done relatively recently. So I am asking for $15000
instead of $13,500, but the price compares it to cars with no upgrades and puts
my price as fair.
Aftermarket upgrades don't usually add value. Include this information in the car description.
That is how the Cargurus IMV works, it can't calculate upgrades and condition. It only bases it on knowns, like year, make and model, mileage, price, etc. The buyer will have to make the determination when going through the ads. Like FOR says, add that information in the description spelling out the upgrades you did. Buyers will make the choice if they want to pay extra for the mods you did to the vehicle. Sometimes mods are a negative to some buyers.
