I just went to a dealer yesterday. When the comment says negotiable. It is not a negotiation it is the dealer wants more than MSRP. They wont go lower. So my comment is Negotiable is the wrong term. It should say, Dealer Price is above MSRP.

Supply and demand is the only factor when buying a brand new Vette. It is definitely one of those - if you have to ask the price then you can't afford it kind of buys.

Now is the time to have a close friend/relative at GM, or who is a critical part supplier to GM, (ignition switches would be good) or who owns a large Chevy dealership ;-)

now is the time to have money in your pocket to buy a toy, he's talking Vette here, not family wagon.

As a dealer looking at my listed vehicle, my vehicle is priced on my website but cargurus list it on their website as negotiable. My question is WHY? I clearly have my vehicle priced on my website!

There are very few dealerships out there willing to negotiate a fair and reasonable price. They only believe in the almighty dollar and they want to get rich off the backs of hard workers wanting the American Dream. But keep looking there are a fear big dealerships out there that will be willing to deal. If you are willing to travel try performance chevrolet in NC
