spilled liquid onto front seat and now warnings on stating airbags are turned off.  
Assuming weight sensor has been impacted by the spill.  what can i do to fix
this?

Do not mess with this yourself, you could accidentally set the air bags off and talk about ruining your day, that will do it. Your safest bet is to take it to your favorite independent shop and have them check it out. You may get lucky and it only need a sensor but moisture can cause wiring issues if not treated as so as possible.

Hopefully it will correct itself when the seat dries out completely. The foam padding in the seat can stay wet for a few days. One good thing, in this case, is the airbag computer resets every time you shut off the ignition. Then it does a diagnosis of the system every time you start the engine. So it may very well correct itself. Hope that helps! Jim
