I have a 2014 Kia Cadenza that I have noticed a hissing
noise coming from the dash for a couple months now. I
tried to use my AC for cold air on a warm day and noticed
that wasn't working. I turned the AC off and the hissing
stopped. Turned it back on and the hissing started
again...etc etc. So anyways, I guess there must be a
vacuum leak behind the dash that is not activating the AC
compressor and is not letting the car get cold. Anybody
have any insight on this on how to fix it? I just went over the
warranty at 71,000 miles....so I'd rather not pay the
ridiculous cost if it winds up being simple.

Hi, I have purchased my kia sportage platinum 2016 almost 3 yrs ago here in Melbourne Australia. recently I have noticed a Whistling/Heisting noise coming from front dashboard when reaching 100 km. it is in Kia dealer service department where I've purchased it and now its been there for the last 3 days. I have been advised the best Kia mechanic is working on it and has also noticed the same, but he doesn't know where the Whistling/Heisting noise is coming from. anyone can assist or had a similar problem? I have recorded the noise on the hwy several times and I have also shown it to the dealer. while they agreed there is a noise, but they don't know where its coming from. I would appreciate assistance. Thanks
