Can I swap out 235/60r/18 tires and rims to 255/70r17 tires and rims?

I just picked up 5 stock tires off a wrangler rims
and tires that are 255/70r/17 and they very large in
comparison. Will the wheel wells be large enough
for my 2012 Jeep Liberty?

Since you have the wheels you can try one on but I doubt they are going to work.
