That is usually a lifter that is slow to lubricate, take it to the dealer. My frontier does that when it is cold but I have over 200,000mi, that should never be on a brand new truck. Have it looked at NOW. Low oil pressure, Old build up, nothing that a brand new motor should do.

I have a 2013 Frontier and it was making a slight clicking sound during the first few seconds of start-up. I took it to the dealer and they replaced a defective fan clutch.
