4.0 engine stalling when stopped at lights

Asked by ohiotrouble Feb 10, 2011 at 11:53 AM about the 2003 Ford Ranger 4 Dr XLT 4WD Extended Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

engine will start missing and stalls out when sitting at a red light for a while. It only does it when the motor has warmd up and doesn't do it all the time.  Once I start moving the engine runs great. Have changed both front O2 sensors, new fuel, new air filter, changed plugs, added injector cleaner to fuel system.
