I bought a car this sight referred me to, and I think the dealer defrauded me.

I inquired a vehicle via car gurus.com with west county Honda in Missouri, the
price advertised is not the same as the price on my contract before any dealer
add ins or any state, lender, or dealer fees. Sale price was 18,443 and my
contract states it as $20,301. The dealer is also asking me to return to resign
financing documents, saying they needed to move some numbers around,
but it won't affect my payment. I'm starting to believe I am a victim of Yo- yo
financing after consulting with many sources, and describing the entire
transaction to the source.

Could be a number of things. Most lending institutions will not accept a negative equity situation with a trade in (assuming you had one) on he contract. So they will increase the sale price of the vehicle you are buying along with the value of your trade. Numbers come out exactly the same. Did you buy any products like extended warranty, gap, etc?

My trade was free and clear valued at over 3k NADA in excellent cond. I got a non negotiable $1000. For it, not to mention the bait and switch on the price. Advertised here for 18443, and they wrote the deal for 20301 BEFORE add ons that I was told I had to buy to get financing. And I was told I cannot put tax title or plate fees on my loan... But a misterious 2k is on the loan... They made me sit there for hours while "negotiating" with the lender, but as soon as I was fed up and leaving, the paperwork was ready to go. Theypulled me back in and said we promise just a couple more minutes.. Then he had all these papers in front of me and started telling me to sign every where, and when I tried to read something he would take it from in front of me and have more papers... They rolled me, no question.
Sounds like it. I'm sorry you had a bad experience. MOST dealers have advanced out of the 80's and have good business practices. There are still a few out there that tarnish the industry still.

What I find shocking is that this website will advertise for dealers like this, and when you bring it to their attention, they do not respond, nor have any contact phone number for customer service. I wouldn't doubt if cargurus.com had influence on the whole dealing.
We advertise with Cargurus. I can 100% tell you it's on the dealership and not cargurus. They have no say so in pricing or information listed. No different than auto trader or cars.com

The dealer got it all straight, Im told the first contract was the bank's first offer, but it was recended, and they offered me now what I was expecting. Weird business, but they made it right, and Ill back..
It's called a spot delivery. Still not good business practice, but I'm glad you got it worked out.
