before it dies you can turn the
key and bump the starter and
it will idel back again . it don't
smoke or nothing I put a new
ignition switch in new spark
plugs. But yea before it dies

I believe that you've got a mechanical fuel pump with a diaphragm...these get torn...would suspect that first~ oh, I see that you can have a mechanical cam driven pump or an electrical pump inside the tank...whichever, get a pressure gauge on the fuel rail and see if your pressure is okay...when it dies and when it runs as well...sounds like power to the fuel pump either through torn diaphragm or faulty electric pump? you tell me~

or for fuel injection this fellow? pumper has perhaps 15 psi...squirter will be 50-70 PSI ~

that is not inside the tank...those start in '93~ sorry for my mistake...I make many mistakes~

Check fuel pressure at the carburator, if u don't have a pressure gauge, spray quick start as u accelerate and see if it stays running, this will g8ve u an idea if it's fuel related. If u have pressure and still dies but runs when u spray it, u have an issue with carburator
