My 89 ford won't tirn over I replaced the starter and the solenoid and all it does is click at the solenoid any advice

First thing to do is to have the battery tested. If battery is okay, give the starter a sharp whack with a hammer, maybe it is stuck. Also check to see if the engine is locked up by putting a socket on the crank pulley to see if you can turn it (do not try this with the key on).
