1981 Ford F250

Asked by Blackbeardink Feb 17, 2016 at 04:23 AM about the 1981 Ford F-250 STD Standard Cab LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My pops gave me his 81 F250 leaking oil from
everywhere, that being said. It only has
70,000original miles on the motor and tuck he
bought new in 81. My question is the 302 that's in
it ,should I just rebuild it or drop in a better/ bigger
motor. I am pretty good with swaps, never done a
rebuild though. Would like some opinions on it.
Thank you

Rebuilding is not bad, but it takes time, if you have it and like a challenge then do it. It not just drop another 302 in it. Its a simple motor that's easy to work on and repair....
