Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1984 Ford Ranger 2.8 V6 it has no spark
no fire I've changed the ignition coil the modulator
the rotor and the distributor cap and still no fire the
plug on the ignition coil wires have been redone so
if I could get a diagram on how that plug wires up
on the ignition coil that would be great but is there
anything else I could check that would cause it not
to fire

Does the distributor rotor spin o.k. when cranking? Other thoughts are degraded wiring or contact points need a good cleaning perhaps with sandpaper.
