i belive the top speed is around 200, 7 speed, impossible/automatic transmission would not be able to handle that kind of stress

It has a 6 speed f1 style gear box which is semi-auto... I believe the Ferrari F1's have an electro-nematic shifting mechanism(Most F1 cars have this style shift mechanism because or reliability compared to direct nematic systems), so if it's the same with the Enzo you'd have to rig speeds to force it to shift via a custom built circuit. The only direct quotable data I found quickly was "using paddles to control an automated shifting and clutch mechanism, with LED lights on the steering wheel telling the driver when to change gears" Surprisingly it's only a 651hp engine...Which contrary to what Alex said there are several Autos out there capable of handling the when couple with the light weight chassis. The FXX has the 800hp 'tuned' version of the Enzo motor... Regardless the Enzo was not the last version of this car, so why deal with it. The Maserati MC12 is the most recent version of the car. which due to a higher weight than the Enzo, only tops out at ~205 while the Enzo theoretically could hit the low 220mph range. Most of what I said here could have been found with a short google search.

hey guys this car got 6 gears and top speed of 340km/h and in britain this car is failed due to its price and no luxuries

the reason why they use the f1 style shifting is because its a lot more efficient and quick compared to regular manual shift.

Its top speed is between 211-217 mph Its a 6 speed and im not sure if you can alter it to be automatic so you got at least 2/3 of the info now lol

The gearbox on the Enzo is manual and you can't drive with automatic gearbox. Everything on the Enzo is manual, because they wanted to save weight and they did.

The gearbox is a sequential manual paddle shifter, there is no automatic mode and this is all a moot point anyways unless you own one of the 300 that ferrari built.

Darryl, The owners handbook states the top speed as 218 m.p.h. and the transmission is a 6-speed F-1 style paddle shift. Unofficially, the cars have been known to top 220 m.p.h. but that would be unlikely on public roads. While nothing is impossible, converting the transmission to an automatic would be difficult and expensive. I would imagine that it could be done using a piggy-back control box and programming similar to a 360 transmissions automatic mode. No one that I know of has attempted this though. I hope that this helps. Also, in my humble opinion, the paddle shift is actually quite fun and easy to use. It takes the clutch work out and basically makes it like driving a car on PlayStation as far as shifting goes. The only gripe is that the shifts are pretty slow unless the car is in race mode...even then they aren't great but you do not have much time to notice since it becomes such a handful (TCS is also deactivated).

top speed of an enzo is about 220 and it has 7 gears but could not be an automatic car because of the torque the engine has
