What tools will I need to drop the manual transmission on my 1988 ford ranger bronco II??

The clutch went to the floor twice going
down the road later I had to shut the pickup
of to get it to go into gear finally it got stuck
in two gears is it bad?

I can't make a list but a moderately good set. An electric ratchet will help if you don't have compressed air for an air ratchet. Hopefully it's just the clutch pressure plate collapsed and not disengaging....if you are lucky the trans will still be ok. Consider renting a transmission jack, especially if you don't have help

But wait, your clutch is hydraulic, and not same reservoir as brakes like some cars. Check the fluid Look for a small plastic container about 1 inch in diameter located close to the back of the engine, usually near the brake fluid reservoir. It looks a lot like the brake fluid reservoir but it's smaller. and all clutch linkage and clutch master cylinder and slave...click to size up
