Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 88 Ford ranger with a blown 4cyl
could I put a v6 from a 97 f150 in it but
different intake and a carb? Would it fit in
without any main changes

120

Depends on the liter. I'm putting a v8 from a f150 in mine it has a tall intake. But you would have to get a intake off a v6 ranger somewhere for your electrical to hookup right unless you go carborated. Idk if it would mount to you're transmission right. But you should be able to
