Ford Ranger

I have a 88 Ford Ranger that has a 2.0 in it and
wanting to swap with a 2.9 out of a 89 Ford
Ranger will it bolt right up or do I need to swap
trany too?

You will have to change the ecm to. Check all plugins to see if they will fit now motor.

Bender0013 is right on that, you would have to change the ECM and wiring harness to make it run. Your going from a 4 cyl. to a V6.
