Will a fiberglass hard tonneau cover from a 96 ranger longbed fit an 89 ranger longbed?

Hoping someone can tell me everything is pointing to yes
but I don’t want to make the 2 hour drive if it won’t fit...

Those are two different generation trucks so it may not fit correctly.. Look up the brand cover you are buying and see if the manufacturer sells the same one for both trucks.
