89 Ford Ranger- Starts up, but let out clutch or key and it dies, Help

I have an 89 Ford Ranger manual that will start but as soon as I let out the
clutch or let go of the key, the engine dies. I have changed the coil, ignition
switch and neutral safety switch. Stuck on what else it could be...

switch is no good if it dies when you let go of the key the one down the steering shaft where a rod runs into it
