I have a 86 Chevy Nova that I put new fuses on new groundcable and a new starter. I got the car running and took the hot cable off and it died. So I took and had the alternator tested while the car was running and it showed it was low voltage but I took it off and had it tested at autozone and they said it passed. Would it be a short in the car or just a defaulty alternator? 1 Answer
