85 S10 pickup,standard cab door glass

Asked by Knuckleberry May 24, 2017 at 10:28 PM about the 1985 Chevrolet S-10 LB RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

On the front and back edges of the door windows there is a plastic or nylon
piece that is attached to the glass and rides inside the window channel. I
think they must keep the window horizontal, from tilting forward and/or
backward. I replaced the passenger side with glass that did not have the
pieces, and the window tilts forward in the channel when rolling it up. Does
anyone know what those pieces are called and where can I buy them?
Thanks

No. They are small pieces that are attached directly to the glass. I just replaced the glass channel runs and weatherstripping.
