only headlights work

Asked by edwa Jul 31, 2014 at 08:01 PM about the 1985 Chevrolet S-10 Sport LB RWD

Question type: General

While changing the fan belt, the alternator electrical connection touched the valve
cover and sparked (should have pulled the negative on battery first) everything's
dead except the headlights. Checked the fuses, all ok.
