I'm guessing this truck is 4 wheel drive.....If you raise truck up and all four wheels spin freely its farther upstream in the driveline. One thing to try would be to raise rear wheels off of the ground with jack stands make sure your in two wheel drive. Then start the vehicle and put it in gear while being ready with your foot on the brake in case you fall off of jack stands. This will eliminate the transmission and rear end. Try this to narrow it down.
