new brakes

Asked by Pearl4514 Jan 23, 2020 at 04:43 AM about the 1986 Chevrolet El Camino RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an ‘86 El Camino Conquista. About what
expense am I looking at to replace brakes (not just
brake pads)?

Ask a brake shop. At that age you may need a complete overhaul of the system which will not be cheap. I would look into a rear brake disk conversion while you are at it.
