I have a 2014 chevy cruze 1.4 turbo

My car over heated it seems like .. left me on the
side of the road.. now it won't start .. doesn't crank
.. just about one click and lights are all on .. brand
new battery and just changed the spark plugs :(..
what could it be ?

Thank you so your saying maybe either starter or alternater... yes will be having a mechanic check it once I get my finances stable lol
