Where is the speed sensor located at on my 1995 Geo prizm?

It's on the side of the transmission. On a transverse mounted engine it should be accessed from under the hood instead of underneath. Usually held in place by a horseshoe shaped clip with one retaining bolt.

The sensor is at the location pointed by the red line in the following diagram: https://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/261618_Noname_20 95.jpg You must remove the air-cleaner container. Even if you do so, it is hard to see as it is about 6 inches down from the top of the transmission part of the transaxle, and is several inches up in the picture. However, you can see it without removing electric wires and coolant tubes. BTW, When I removed the air-cleaner container, the connector whose black-red and white-red wires branch from the wire-bundle whose another light-green and yellow pair is connected to the throttle. Where should this connector should be connected.
