Transmission

Asked by Guru884X3 Jan 04, 2020 at 08:12 PM about the 2003 Ford Taurus SES

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 03 taurus that ran great
one night, no gears the next
morning. Fluid and filter are up to
date. Pulled the plug by the ecm
and fluid appears to be pumping,
so I'm thinking its not the splines
like you would expect. Any
suggestions would be
appreciated

Yeah, they do have their issues lol. Still good little cars. I was just surprised to see fluid moving given their propensity for the shaft to wear out and I'm trying to figure the next troubleshooting step for sudden loss of gears
