the idle on my 2003 ford tauras ses is all messed up. Replaced the iac and some sensor. And the alternater. It's better, but it stalls out when I'm at a red light. Gotta put it in neutral and rev the gas to prevent this. Stressfull driving. Won't pass inspection in January. Any thoughts on this? Greatly appreciated.

Idle is messed up. Runs high when I start it and wait about 1 minute till it gets to 900 rpm.
Then, it start fluctuating dowm till it stalls out. Replaced the IAC And some sensor but my
mechanic can't figure it out. Thinks the intake might be rotted out. Any Ideas?

Hello, I have a 2001 Ford Taurus Wagon and it is having some issues. It starts, however, the idle is jumpy and thr RPM's surge and it sputters and stumbles and back fires at times while driving, and sometimes the gas peddle jumps under my foot. The engine light is flashing and I smell gas when I get out of the vehicle.I have to make the repairs myself and do not have a lot of funds to toss around in the process. my 1996 ford taurus gl when going down the road and coming to a full stop. the car will not move unless you put it in neutral and back to drive it will then go down the road. If i take it easy shifting is smooth but if i give it excessive gas it shifts rough we changed transmission fluid and filter and replaced speed sensor what could be the problem need help bad to get this thing going 3 Answers

Hello, I have a 2006 Ford taurus SEL 3.0. Thew check charging system indicator comes on. The red battery light comes on after about 15 seconds after startup. If the battery is strong it does not come on but after a few starts the battery weakens and the light and warning come on.
