What sensors are in a 2003 Ford Taurus and will they prevent a car from starting only occassionally?

All of the sensors that the pcm uses on the signal return ckt can cause it to not start and run. there are more than can be addressed here, what are the conditions when it won't run? Has anything been done recently? Does it have any codes?
