Does your blazer have a 4.3 or a 2.8? And what is the trucks engine?

4.3L.. I wasn't told what truck it came out of. I thought it came out of a Chevey truck but it wasn't till my mechanic told me that the engine wont work i was told that it was different motor. The place i bought it from said the only difference in the motor is the oil pan but the mechanic says there are censors that won't be connected..... And that the engine i got was a carburetor but my truck is feul injected... I fear the auto parts store or the mechanic is trying to rob me

The carbed motors do create a challenge for you to keep fuel injection. It's easier to just get the right motor. If you can take the motor back then I'd suggest doing that and find the right motor

Yes, going to a carb is pretty easy. Run a return style regulator to keep fuel pressure down and the stock pump working. Or remove the stock pump from the equation and run the factory block mounted mechanical fuel pump.

The engine came off a 1987 chevey pick up truck... Do you think tjis is a good fit for the 88 blazer s10
