what kind of subwoofer should i get?

i need a subwoofer for my 89 dodge Dakota sport it has approximately 8 inches of space in the area behind the seats (2 hands) im gonna be using it for EDM music and

Thanks for the link. Probably a smaller subwoofer box with an amp attached would do the trick. As Tom suggested www.crutchfield.com may have your vehicle listed in it's database and offer a suggestion as to what to buy. Crutchfield is a first class outfit, not the cheapest, but their customer service is the best in the business.
