Need help figuring out what this part is?

Asked by Evan Dec 11, 2020 at 01:04 PM about the 2000 Dodge Dakota R/T Sport Club Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I rebuilt a 2000 dodge dakota from somebody I
bought it from already taken apart and got it for
around 200 dollars pretty good price for how good
the body was intact anyways so its all rebuilt
except im missing one part and I'm pretty sure its
the part I need to get it to start I've replaced the
fuel pump and fuel rail and fuel infecters and if I
pour a little gas down the intake manifold it turns
over but without it won't start so I think its this part
that I'm missing and I would like to get it brand
new but I don't know what the parts called.

That would be the vapor canister purge valve solenoid for the EVAP system. Standard part number CP415. Hope that helps! Jim
