2003 Taurus: Driver's window comes out of the front track and hangs. I replaced the motor and I think the regulator about 2 yrs. ago. How do I keep the glass in the front track?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I removed the inside of door today and the regulator seems to twist when going up and down.  The glass slips out of the track at the front of the door.  I don't know if I need to replace the regulator.  The window motor works fine.

One of the arms on the regulator is prone to bending and causing the glass to jump out of its runs. Put a factory regulator assembly in and it ought to be fine.
