i replaced the water pump in my 2003 ford taurus, but i still get cold air coming through the vents

Check both heater hoses going in and out of the heater core by firewall, if both are not hot after engine has reached operating temperature, you do not have coolant circulating through the heater core. Check heater core to see if it's plugged up.
