my 2014 ford explorer has a bad smell coming from the ac the first couple of times that i turn it on it goes away after a while but then when i turn off the truck and turn it back on the smells comes

The ac dehumidifies the air in your car and it can build up mold and mildew and bacteria. some people have luck with simple Lysol bacteria sprays, but there is a pro product called ultra shield that works pretty good. just follow the directions on the can.
