I seen in magazine testing where they added it and got gains of 30hp and 25ft/lbs torque with no tune. The alcohol also allows for a higher amount of boost leading to even more power gains. So if you are interested in adding more boost it may be a good investment.

this system is also very dangerous unless you know it's installed properly it very likely will blow up. an overall better system is just a regular nos kit, you see better power gains for less bank and no need to raise the boost.

A methanol injection use a mix of alcohol and water. This makes it about as likey to blow up as your windsheild washer resivour. Alcohol injection is safer than a nitrous oxide system and it is much cheaper. However it probably won't have the same power gains and it will require tuning for the most benefit. You won't need to add boost to see gains but you do have the option because the injection will reduce the possibility of detonation.

meth kits are extremely affective for cooling boost and will benefit you more the cooler the weather...the only thing i would suggest would be haveing the car tuned after the installation of the meth kit so you get the max hp and torque gains and will also give you better gas mileage...
