2013 T Bird. 34000 miles When I get above 65mph the E light comes on where the gear(p,r,n,d5,or d4 is. When the car is tuned off and restarted its gone. No problems driving. Shifts smooth.

Still waiting for you to tell us what the "E" light stands for
The E light indicates a problem with the tranie. Could be low fluid, the valve body operator, clutch slippage, a sensor, etc. but why only at high speeds and the car shifts smooth? Does that point you in any direction? Thanks.
Thanks for the reply. I think you may have just answered your own question. Have you checked the fluid level? Smell the dip stick and see if it has a "Burnt" smell to it. That will tell you if your fluid is bad. You would be more apt to get slippage at high speeds than starting out unless you tried to "burn out". I would check those items first.
