Do you mean by you can’t shift from out of park or you go into drive and the vehicle doesn’t move forward? If you can’t shift from park, Check first to see if the rear brake lights operate when depressing and holding the brake pedal, suspect a brake light switch attached above the brake pedal if brake lights don’t operate, but obviously check fuses first before going forward with the component and cause. The shift interlock can goof up sometimes, but not very commonly.
