Sounds like the fuel pump is not running. Turn the key to the on position and see if you can hear the fuel pump run.

Changed the fuel pump fuel filter and the inertia switch but still does not want to send fuel to the engine

Does the fuel pump run? Trying to determine if you lost power to the fuel pump.
