It's a general indication showing the the amount of days the car has been sitting on the dealer/persons lot. The longer it sits, the more likely you are to better negotiate. This is not always true because some people / lots are 'no haggle/firm' on prices. Your odds of getting a better deal increase the longer the car sits. Keep in mind, if the car is priced very low but has been sitting awhile on the lot, let that be a yellow flag in your head for you to ask "why have you not sold it yet?" there could be an issue with the car thats preventing it from selling. Good luck
