Dead battery

Asked by Dan Dec 03, 2017 at 10:13 PM about the 2014 Chevrolet Traverse 2LT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2014 chevy traverse.  The battery wont
stay charged. I can charge it and 30 minutes later
its dead. I plugged in the computer and there are
no codes but it said my alternator is over charging
but my battery is good. What may be the issue?

More likely battery is somehow damaged (inside plates) and want hold the power . Any battery selling place can check it for free. Do that before everything else . Not too many vehicles have battery charging or sensors
