Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My AC in the front has stopped working but the rear
works fine. Please advise if anyone has had this happen
before. Thanks!

I don't see any recalls other then a fuel system recall for a flange that may crack and leak. If the car is still under warrenty would likely be a good idea to take it in and have it repaired under warrenty other wise i would guess the blender door may have malfunctioned

Can you give me a feedback on this issue? Today I have had the same. Front no air, rear full air... Thanks

if its still under warranty have the dealer fix the issue as it is likely a blender door issue or some sorta servo that changes the air.

Were you able to fix this? This happens on my 2017 Audi Q7 after driving 60+ miles on a hot sunny day. If you turn the AC off for 10-15 minutes, it will work again, but then after 20 miles will again quit. It is under warranty, but the dealer can't replicate the problem, therefore can't fix it.

its likely the main blender door or the system that controls it. do your self a favor google search this issue and see if you can't find some supporting docs from people who had the same issue. other wise take the car into the audi dealer and tell them they are replacing your whole ac system or taking the car back or you will report this to the head office. you just need to keep on them till they get tired of seeing you and do the work had to do that with volkswagon and audi its why i do not own an audi or volkswagon any more. they are super incompatant when it comes to diagnosing issues, a good example was my front crank seals that had been leaking in my 2013 audi that they miss diagnosed at thier top canadian facility 3 times in a row even tho i spoted it long before i even brought it back in.

Do not buy Audi...I purchased 2013 Q7 new....nothing but problems ...blower motor replaced under warranty, tailgate sensor replaced under warranty power, power sterring pump 50/50 between me and dealer, could not get truck out of park, 50/50 between me and dealer. i have complained about ac / heater since purchase date...i have video of my truck set at 22 degrees and it was blowing 60 degrees. Audi fix...disable blend door (WTF)..they would not go further because there is no error code...but they said if i pay the labour to remove dash they would look at the climate control hub, MMI goes black ..dealer advised it may require updating $175 but if it does not fix the problem i lose that money now a/c is not at optimal temperature and they are asking that it may require to be charged or a leak fix at ...Oh Audi Canada is aware of these problems and they refused to help and the dealer wont do jack about ac because its out of warranty...well done sherlock but what about the 5 years i complained about the ac / heating and poor blower motor....nothing nada.....please don't buy Audi ….they provide subpar vehicles at an outrageous price point If a agent from Audi Canada would like to further this, i have documentation to prove these allegation....of and i almost forgot both ball joints are gone within the first 6 year of this vehicle...i have an Acura and i had a GMC .i would highly recommend did not have half of these problems but don't buy Audi you'll be sadly disappointed and stuck with a lemon that is fabricated in eastern Europe not Germany as they claim DONT BUY AUDI DONT BUY AUDI
