Low beam on driver side not working, 2014 Ford Fusion

Asked by Shane Feb 27, 2016 at 07:40 PM about the 2014 Ford Fusion SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just finished switching out my factory halogen
bulbs with new ones. Now I have ran into the issue
with my driver side low beam coming on for a few
seconds then stops. I was careful not to touch the
bulb when installing and tested it before putting
everything back together.. Not to sure where to go
from this point. If I should take the headlamp out
again mess with the connection or what. Any ideas
would be greatly appreciated.

To better explain the problem.. When i turn my low beams without the engine on they stay on, but as soon as I turn the engine on the driver side low beam cuts out.. Only stays on for a split second.. Not sure if it's bad ground in the wiring harness or what. I just don't want to take my car to the dealership to spend hundreds of dollars...
