If a dealer has a 2014 Cadillac XTS Plantinum that was a demo, still new. How do you get a fair valuation, its still new but its 2 years old?

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Granted it is still new, but it has been driven 5000 plus miles as a demo and hasn't moved from the inventory.

Dealers get to write down a vehicle they put into loaner or demo fleet. So a fair evaluation would be to price out certified pre-owned vehicles with same options and similar miles. Then add about $1000 to that number.

look up in the blue book, dealer will want more but should be worth a few thousand more than the blue book. It should still have a long factory warranty left.
