How much transmission fluid do you need to change transmission fluid

How much trans fluid drains out of a Subaru when
the drain plug is pull someone “changed” my aunts
oil but then she took her car to a friend to look at it
and they said her oil was over full but her
transmission fluid was empty and told her she
needed to get 10 quarters of transmission fluid to to
fill it

No no no! When simply drained and refilled the CVT will "take" 4-5 qts. It's best to then run for a minute or two and then recheck, as it may take another quart. Total capacity can NOT be simply drained by gravity. Anyway, you can't "pump" 10qts into it from the side hole at low pressure, as it'll just keep spilling out....
