KELLY IF SHE KNEW THAT SHE WOULD NOT COME HERE TO ASK FOR ADVICE MORON AND BY POSTING IN ALL UPPER CASE YOU ARE NOT DRAWING ATTENTION TO YOUR SELF IT SHOWS A NARCISSISTIC ATTITUDE --Look it up - and with all the ?????????????? and !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! proves my point
The 15 and newer Outbacks are a new car compared to the 14. Other than small incremental changes the 15-16 Outbacks are pretty much the same thing. Same engines, transmission and body style. Howdy Ford!

The '10-14 OB underbody has a lot of cheap steel sub-frame components. Guys in the salt belt are seeing premature seam rusting too, claiming they're incredibly cheaply made. Sigh.... The '15+ claims to have better metallurgy and improved structural rigidity. Yet at least underhood there seems to be LESS stuff for real world crash protection. But at this point I'll recommend a '15 over a '14. But all '10-16 OBs handle like crap.
Now there's an answer! And I live in a salt infested area, and have seen this on the Suba-who?
9 helpful for FordNut's post and Zero helpful for Kelly. This should tell Kelly something. Enough said, we have a winner and Kelly is not it. I too have become tired of Kelly's mostly useless posts. If you don't have something helpful to post, please consider not posting it. Just my opinion.....
