Location of keyless entry door code on 2014 Focus LE

Asked by JohnnyDee Jun 09, 2015 at 03:51 PM about the 2014 Ford Focus SE

Question type: General

I've read everything online looking for this code. Here is where I have checked,
under driver dash near brake, not there.
under glove box near top of the Smart Junction Box - not there.
under hood in the fuse box, not there.
in trunk drivers side fuse box, not there.

Anyone know for sure where this elusive sticker with the door code is?
(bought the car with 10k miles, obviously previous owner threw away the card!)

The 2014 Focus LE I asked about had the add on keyless entry system (Ford part 7L2Z-14A626-BA). If you do not have the card that comes with the part, it is useless. There is no way to get the number. I ordered another one and installed it. Now it works properly. Tip: Use dental floss with a loop on both ends to drag the floss behind the old keypad, clean up adhesive with WD40, then degrease the location before placing new keypad.

I had a 2012 Escape.I found the code under the center console. It was a label on the computer. I needed a mirror to read it. A little tricky to get the console off. An old timer on u tube was the only one to have the answer. Good luck!
