Engine vibration

Asked by GuruWM86Q May 29, 2018 at 09:54 AM about the 2014 Toyota Corolla S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey,  I have a 2014 Toyota Corolla S.  53000 km on
it and I've noticed a slight vibration at around 2700
rpm and stops when you clear 3000 rpm.   Every
gear, no matter the speed.  Any ideas. Thanks

Most vibrations at idle are broken or split engine mounts. A also check spark plugs and leads. A lot of early Corollas have 4 engine mounts which can cost around $300 a lone just for the 4 mounts plus labour if you go to a garage

Cheap fix, but took forever to find the problem. Rear exhaust donut gasket crushed on one side. Watched a mechanic replaced them both front and rear with new hardware and springs. The 3000 to 3200 rpm vibration / humming is gone.
