Can I hotwire my ford zx2?

Well I lost my key to my ford zx2 and was
wondering if I can hotwire my car without a key for
temporary so I can keep going to work and back I
cnt afford the 250

Nope. Hotwiring cars went out in the 70's.

What sucks even more is tearing up the steering column trying to hot wire it and end up with a huge repair bill and then have to fork out the money for a new set of keys.

If you do, you'll trigger the security system and the vehicle will be shut down. It's cheaper to get new keys made and programmed to the vehicle. Hope that helps! Jim
