Changing my tire size

Question type: Car Customization
I want to put "20" wheels and tires on my 2014
Dodge Charger ! I have gotten great advice against
it! I respect the info! I have some chargers with the
chrome factory dodge ones! Do u think I can put
these on my charger although it didn't come with
them? (Mine came with the aluminum wheels on it)

I went back to look at your other questions about this, and I am complimented that you respect my answer. Thank You And Full_of_Regrets would be too, I am certain of that. But I stick with my response Tanya. Full_of_Regrets knows what he is talking about. You asked about what is best for your car. KEEP the original diameter. The engineers that designed the car did not just arbitrarily pick that size, they go with the gear ratios and ride comfort. And as for looks, this is strictly my opinion now, previous is fact. 20" rims with low profile tires actually take away from the good looks of that car. It is a beautiful car. And if you have that kind of money to spend I think you can put it to better use. The aluminum wheels are better than chrome. In a year or so the chrome (which is just plated on top of a copper plate that steel wheels are dipped in) will begin to chip and look like crap.
Gorgeous car as is. Just like you.
If it were my choice I would pick 18's and thank you Ford!
For a nice custom look you can have the stock wheels stripped of the clear coat and polished to a mirror finish. It takes some work to maintain them but your car will really stand out!
So let me understand what u are saying! The aluminum ones I have now on my car can be stripped and polished to look like the chrome ones? What do u mean it takes some work to maintain them?
They will look like polished aluminum which is a little different than chrome and personally I like it better than chrome. Aluminum oxidizes so you need to polish it occasionally to keep it looking sharp. A little Mothers polish is all it takes.
Can u put a 2015 steering wheel in a 2012 charger
